Help modernise our machinery
At Hovicon, we work on high-quality metalworking every day. Our machinery consists of a combination of new and older CNC machines. This sometimes presents challenges, but above all offers plenty of scope for improvement.
That is why we are looking for a Senior CNC Specialist who not only operates machines but also helps to take our processes and machinery to the next level.
This is not a standard operator role, but a position for someone who thinks technically, optimises and provides direction.
What will you be doing
As a senior CNC specialist, you will be a key technical figure within our company.
Your responsibilities:
- Setting up, programming and optimising CNC machines
- Analysing and improving production processes
- Contributing ideas on maintenance and technical improvements
- Providing support during breakdowns and technical issues
- Mentoring and training a junior CNC specialist
- Contributing ideas on future investments in machinery and tooling

- Experience with CNC turning and/or milling
- Experience with programming and setting up machines
- Technical insight and problem-solving skills
